Combe Family Missionary Update 

July 3, 2008

Family News:  While briefly in the states, I was able to see how Jasper and Hannah.  They both have good jobs and he is beginning to acclimate himself to life in the states without mom and dad.  We are so proud of their character and service for Christ.  Thank you ahead of time for your continued prayers on their behalf. 

Ministry News:  We are gearing up for Summer Camp that will be held near Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico.  A mere 10 hour drive from our present location.  We will take a total of 26 campers from the Iglesia Bautista Monte Calvario and the Baptist Mission that is located in Hueytamalco, Puebla.  We will go pick them up this Saturday so that they will be with us for Sunday services and then Sunday night we will begin our journey to Summer Camp.  The devil would love to strike a blow to the hinder the work that God is doing in the lives of literally dozens of young believers.  Please be in effectual prayer for our travels this week.  Your prayers will make the difference.  Please pray!


Pastor Marvin Dunn of the New Haven Bible Baptist Church of McAlester, OK has told us that they will begin to support our family and ministry beginning next month.  Amen and Amen! 

Thousand. . .Hundred. . .Millions Land Fund

For those who are not aware, we are in the process of raising the finances to purchase approximately 1,000 square feet on a major road in Mexico City.  The purchase price is approximately $100.00 a square foot.  We now have approximately $4,000.00 or 40 square feet covered and only need $96,000.00 or 960 square feet to reach our land fund goal.  How many feet can you cover?  I promise you that God will take the sacrifices of all of us and will use it for His Glory.  Someday in eternity you will be glad you did.  This is not a spiritual need but a public display of God’s blessing.  It would testify to what the Lord is doing in the lives of many folks here in Mexico City.

I was able to see the Zacarias Juarez family as well as my good friend, Michael Sanzone, pastor of the Ardmore Baptist Church of Ardmore, TX while traveling through Texas and Oklahoma. 

If anyone knows of a church that needs to support a Soulwinning missionary in one of the world’s largest cities, please do not hesitate to give them our information.  Your recommendation will be very much appreciated.  Many pastors have stated that they would like to have us come and present our ministry in their churches.  We are hopeful to visit their ministries soon.

We are in the middle of our Summer Jump Campaign.  The picture above is of our summer campaign banner.  It is called FUTBOL 2008.  The folks are excited to be involved in their first campaign.  At present the Eagles of the America Team is winning against the Pumas of Mexico City Team 2 to 1.  We are awarding a special leather bound New Testament to any “player” (Soulwinner) who wins 25 souls or more to Christ during this campaign.  They are among the first Spanish New Testaments of its kind in Mexico.    

Since our last update we have seen 41 souls saved.  Several of our young people have been used of God to bring many to the feet of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  Bro. Eric Segundo is a young man who just last year had piercings on his face and tongue but now is a soulwinner and is desiring the Lord to use him greatly in the future.

Bro. Raymundo Ramirez Perez brought an architect to the church house area and measured the area for the roof panels that have been promised to us.  The architect has come of his own volition and without any requests for payment.  It is amazing to see God working in our ministry.  Many men are becoming more involved with the ministry.  I believe they are realizing the fact that with the great privilege of receiving eternal life comes the great responsibility of working for the Saviour and of leading others to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

The couple on the right is Fidel Gutierrez and Albertina Acros.  They own the home where the Iglesia Bautista Monte Calvario meets.  He is has been a medical doctor for over 35 years and she has been a faithful helpmeet to him.  They are shown here dropping me off at the airport.  I assure you we could not do what we do if not for the faithfulness of couples just like them.  Praise the Lord for them!

We have a new website: www.TestigosFalsos.com.  It means false witnesses.  We hope to have it running by the end of August 2008.  We have created this website to be a help to the folks who are continually being lied to and that do not know the difference between the lies of false religions, knows as cults, and the unadulterated truth.  In this website, we will not only give the true identity of the Jehovah “False” Witnesses but will also reveal the other false cults that are totally twisting the Bible message.  Please pray that this tool will serve its purpose:  To defend the true Gospel once delivered to the saints.
