Combe Family Missionary Update

Family News: We are remembering the one year anniversary of the death of my brother, Charles “Charlie” Combe. He passed on due to complications from heart surgery. It seems like yesterday. Eternity will have no regrets or sadness. I can’t wait to see my brother and dad again in Heaven. The pictures on the right are our family on an outing to the Castle of Chapultepec in Mexico City. Ministry News: On Wednesday nights, we meet in several homes for prayer and fellowship. One of the main reasons we meet in different homes is to invite family and neighbors to come and hear the Word of God and have prayer. Three Jehovah Witnesses came and were gloriously saved. They did not understand salvation at first due to the tightly spun web of confusion that the “False” Witnesses weave. They had many questions as Leah was witnessing to them. When they did, Leah would pause and ask me where such and such a verse was located. The Scriptures erased any doubts they had. Praise the Lord! I performed my third wedding in Mexico City and it was a young lady from our youth group, Yesenia Perez Sanchez who married Carlos Damian Garcia. We loaded up three vans with some of our church folk and drove an hour to the delegation of Iztapalapa. I gave a clear presentation of the Gospel and over 40 friends and family trusted Christ as Savior. Amen and Amen! Consuelo Gutierrez is 92 years old and recently fell and broke her leg. She had surgery and is recuperating fine. She has everyone at her beck and call. As I mentioned in an earlier update, her husband Don Eliseo Gutierrez, who is 94 years old, was recently baptized. Please pray for our situation of the abandoned home that we have found. We have contacted the owner and we will be able to move in, the Lord willing, later this month. Your prayers have yielded results that are pleasing to our Lord. We will at the present rent the home and fix it up. The Lord willing we will be able to purchase it. Please keep praying for this opportunity. I preached earlier this month on
the fact that God decides after we decide. When Adam named the animals, God allowed those names to
remain. Yet, when Adam and Eve
disobeyed God’s command, He responded differently. In the Bible and in life God decides after we decide. Many folks are waiting on the Lord when
in reality God is waiting on our next move. That is probably one of the greatest hindrances in our
world-wide outreach. Don’t wait
until God calls you by sending strong feelings or a hit on the head from a bolt
of lightning. He has commanded us
to go to every creature. Our
response to God’s Word is “Just Do It”!
In Mexico City, Missionary David Combe Matthew 9:38 Since our last update we have had 77 souls saved. Amen andAmen! | ![]() ![]() ![]() |
